Mark David Chapman: Up for Parole

Mark David Chapman, known as the convicted killer of John Lennon, has a parole hearing today. This hearing is close to the 30th anniversary of the the death of the Lennon which will be in December. Chapman has been denied parole since 2000 with the board stating that their concerns were for the safety of the public. Erik Kriss, the spokesperson of the Department of Corrections, has stated that Chapman has not had an infraction since 1994 and spends his time doing his job in jail.
